Ingredients of Fried Rice

  1. Prepare of eggs, lightly beaten.
  2. Prepare of carrots, finely chopped.
  3. It's of green onions, finely chopped.
  4. You need of peas.
  5. You need of cooked and cooled rice.
  6. Prepare of soy sauce.
  7. You need of sambal oelek (very spicy chili paste).
  8. You need of sesame oil.

Fried Rice instructions

  1. Heat a teaspoon of butter in a wok over medium high heat. Scramble the eggs and set aside.
  2. Heat some butter in the wok over high heat. Add your finely chopped carrots, half of the green onions (so their flavor won't be overpowering like raw onions, but also to have a crunchy texture) and peas. Saute until nicely browned then turn heat down to medium.
  3. Add about half a tablespoon butter to the wok (without discarding the veggies), add cooked rice and the rest of your green onions. Fry for a minute or so.
  4. Turn off heat and add scrambled eggs (residual heat should warm them through) as well as sambal oelek, soy sauce and sesame oil.
